Ya I think it would handle a little different. I just want to see if the 12" would be worth it above the frame or through the frame. If its benefits to running it this way are high. Then I will either cut the body mount and move it.

aren't you holding it by the brake line piping??

how lightly? just on the connector or the actual sensor? cause if its on the connector..bet it would be fine..

ah..that i will wait for someone else to answer

I get what ur saying about the money but honestly u always end up investing way over what you already have into it. It's about building ur truck for yourself not for resale value

oh so thats just the wiring coming out of the sensor that is the round section your fingers are on. Not hard pipe.

So you can't file the connector down a bit for it to fit at 90º?

yeah just wire....i might be able to....but the sensor doesnt really sit 100% at 180* and at 90* it doesnt go in at all....it can go at about a 45* angle though but then you cant secure it....i wouldnt mind loosing abs all together, mine has always been way to sensitive and will come on just stopping on the freeway.

Yah to be honest I'm not really considering resale value, but at the pace I can put money into it, by the time i have everything else sorted it will likely be time for a motor swap (218k miles currently), and I'll already be like 8k deep, and still have a single cab with no creature comforts (albeit extremely easy to work on..) I might hold off on this beamed yota, but after talking to the guy it sounds pretty solid. Even considering swapping my 5spd into that, then selling mine with an auto. Anyone want to drive out to mesa az with me? roaaaaddtrriiiippp hahah

That is a pretty good deal, but unfortunately doesn't have a bed and is a single cab :/ For that much I might as well just finish mine! Nice find though, i like that paint color

edit just realized it was 4x4.... might be worth taking a look at

I think he bought the 4runner with the swap already? That hood scoop he's running adds about 25 ponies....

anyone here driven a equal lengh beamed lt truck? i'm a little nervous about the corner handling characteristics of beams... i reeeaaaaly like the predictable nature of the a arms through tight corners, would i be sacrificing this with beams?

Kid, just go test drive that beamed toyota. First hand experience is better than any 2nd hand experience.
