Hey guys. I might be going spring under with this new truck. And would consider doing the pelfrey shock relocate as well. What should I run for rear shocks? Lengthwise. 10s or 12s? I'll be moving the lower shock mount up to the axle itself.

For SUA I worry you will bottom out a 12" shock and a 10" might be too short for the droop.

I checked out pelfreybuilt rear kit in superstition. It's way badass. Tyler told me they cycled it for days to get the geometry perfect, and riding in it pretty much confirmed that for me lol. I would consider it for your type of wheeling.

I know Tyler set the kit up to run 12s but I'm not sure how SUA will do with that since it's sits a lot lower (less up travel possibly?)

Then that the heck do people run with SUA?! If they don't cut their bed?

Sweet...that's good to hear. Wonder what length shocks he was running. I think he's spring over the axle though too

Yea Marc got that kit and it's gorgeous. Works great. He has 12s just like Tyler.

For SUA..not sure if a 12 would work..might need a custom kit really to get the most out of the SUA setup

Why don't you just install, then cycle and measure what you need?

X2 for 16's or 14's and the dirt designs bedcage. Check out Brian's build... It's super clean and barely takes up any space at all. I feel like you might regret anything short of that

A bedcage will allow the option of bypass shocks and 2.5 with more room and longer shocks, whereas the in fender-well hoop will be tight and more for 2.0 and possible 2.5 but smooth bodies.

If you look at FixedTRD's build, he is running 2.5 tripple bypasses with his DMZ spring under.
