ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
Just a quick question for the fiberglass experts out there. My glassworks had small spider cracks in the jell coat from the factory and a few other noticeable imperfections, I know glass takes some love so thinking about trying to clean them up a little myself. Have some experience with fiberglass from fixing boards and working on boats back in the day but not sure what to use. Should i use fiberglass resin or go straight to jell coat?
    Thanks!

Im no expert but ill chime in.. i used a premixed fiberglass filler which is like resin with little shreds of fiberglass in it for filling big stuff (i think its bondo branded, got it at home depot) and straight resin and cloth for the rest. Oh and a lot of sand paper. Might want a mask too... I blew colored boogers for days.
Anyways I didn't use a gel coat when I refinished and painted my single cab (it had hanneman glass all around). Just sanded / filled till I had it how I wanted, then primered and subsequently painted. If it's just spider cracks you should be able to sand it smooth without adding any glass. Or fill the cracks with resin first then sand smooth, depending on thickness of the glass and depth of cracks.
Again, I'm just a student working out of his back yard. But my results with the above were what I would consider to be quality. Maybe if you post a few pics we can help more

Quick question, I have seen a few guys use bedliner on the inside of their fiberglass body panels to make them more rigid/durable. Do you guys think it's worth it?

I've been thinking about doing it for a while, no more rigidity but def more durable, it'll protect chipping in the glass and for fraying of the glass too

i did mine with a spray on which helped make them feel more solid, if you used the roll on it would probably be even better cuz its thicker. if i ever get around to re-coating the insides thats what I'm gona do it with. i also did it on the tops of my bedsides and where everyone gets the "sand blasting" mark on the front of the bedsides cuz they take some abuse in those spots...i know blang805 (brian) has a super gnarly type of bedliner on his, don't know what brand it was tho.
