What is everyone's opinions on traction bars? My truck has pretty bad axle wrap and lifts up about 8 or more inches on acceleration as I would like to end that.

too bad you didn't buy Eddie's (Special K) truck. It didn't have a ton of bed space but it was a sweet 4x4.

8 fucking inches??!! (Thats what she said) you sure its axle wrap causing the lift, and not pinion angle??

what ever it is its due to the axle rotating under load. and yes 8" roughly. if i just accelerate hard the back end stands straight up, and if i'm on the brakes and the gas (standing still) it lifts so high i'm staring at the ground i feel like.
springs are pretty new. and lsk set it up at 52.5"

Stick a go pro under there. I bet it's not axle wrap. Mine does it too, and it's caused by the axle torque lifting the frame at the spring hangers. The springs don't form an "S" like axle wrap, it's anti-squat. I also have 12" shackles over the frame. It doesn't seem to happen on trucks with inverted shackles...fwiw.

I'll get a go pro shot some time. But I'd the axle is still torquing wouldn't a traction bar setup eliminate this?
