Good. You're "build" is impossible to follow though....you should have a mod rename the "build" to "bs thread" :D

looks to me like that is closer to 14" I have personally had the opprotunity to see a 2nd Gen (what I thought we were discussing considering engange doesnt make a 1st gen 4x4 kit) Camburg Kit cycle 15" clean and retain 4wd.... just saying. I already bought what I thought was ideal, now i want something different. I'm far from a noob to this game...

But to keep things completely fair, the engage kit pulling 16" has their "race spindle" on it, so a 2wd first gen camburg "race kit" will pull 20"

    http://www.camburg.com/toyota/95-04-tacoma/race-series-longtravel-kit/

    Cheers.

now you get it...... engage does not make a "4x4" kit for anything but the 05+ tacomas, know your shit instead of "assuming" things before you try to debate informed people... good luck with you HREW race cage

look, i can copy and paste too!

The 2005-2010 Toyota Tacoma is a great platform to start with. In this high end Camburg Long Travel kit you will find nothing but the very best in A-Arm performance. Starting with our lower arm, uni-balls in the lower frame pivots, uni-ball lower ball joint replacement, and a stout boxed race arm. The upper arm pivots on urethane bushings with zirk fitting and 1.250″ race uni-balls replace the stock ball joints. We adapt the uni-ball to the spindle with heat treated stainless steel adapters. Utilizing Camburg SPEC 8″ travel 2.5″ reservoir coilovers by Sway-A-Way or FOX there is no need to cut the stock coil-over mounts. The shock design has an external top cap so the shock has a 1.5″ shorter overall extend length then all other off-road race shocks. For the steering we have steering extenders and also offer a heim joint steering upgrade. The steering upgrade includes a Heat treated stainless steel ty-rod and inner clevis which utilizes a 3/4″ rod end / heim joint. This system will yield up to 15″ travel on a 2×4 and 14″ on a 4×4. If desert pre-running / racing is your forte then the by-pass upgrade is for you! This system can be upgraded with our dual shock mount and a 2.5″ 3 tube by-pass shock can be added to the system. So to sum it up this upper and lower uni-ball Long Travel System is for the ultimate in performance so if you are into trail running or desert racing or just exploring Moab you have found the ultimate in performance!

    Upper and lower uni-ball A-arms
    lower Uni-ball spindle adapter
    brake lines
    limit straps
    steering extensions, coilover mounts
    hardware.
    Heim Steering upgrade $495.00
Heim joint upper arm pivot upgrade $249.00

I laugh at how "informed" you guys believe you are, high post counts dont mean you know what your talking about. It just means that you would rather sit at you computer and flirt with other truck people than wheel. Have either of you ever been to a race, none the less assisted in the support or a race program, I already know the answer...

    Cheers

I am informed because I actually own a kit you wish you got the first time. Has nothing to do with my post count. I dont need to race it to cycle the suspension. You go "follow" race teams and keep buying shit you dont want anymore

im not sure if you realize what his post said. he said his kit pulls over 13, the internet says 13. so he said the internet isnt always exact. might want to re read.

the engage with their race spindle pulls 15.75, without it pulls 16inches.

and my cage will be 1.75 .120 USA DOM

oh hey you can copy and paste congradufuckinglations.

i am somewhat informed, i never said i was really smart as i am still learning as well as you and everyone else. i sit on the computer at work and learn, after im usually working on my truck or wheeling, i probably wheel more than you do, i go out 3-4 times a week. have i ever been to a race? yeah i have raced quads when i was a kid, trucks raced at every event i raced at so i watched that for 4 years, i raced dirtbiked this whole year and most of last year, and trucks raced at every one of those events also. i have only helped pit once. you sure act like you know alot about me.

Don't feed the troll lol. "Theghost" posted on my LED review claiming one brand was better than the other just because the LED's were brighter . Usually the newbies don't stick around to long.

That should work as long as you use a bungee or something to make the straps "collapse" towards each other so they dont end up tangled in the shock when it compresses
