    Not exactly the same as trying to squeeze a 18" spring on a standard 8" stroke C/O with a extra tall bottom seat :p

    My kings are 16" 650lbs coils and I have much less preload than you Gabe and sit much higher. Something seems off if those are truly 16" coils.

    That's because you don't have the taller bottom spring seat that's required for us 4x4 guys

    I have #700 16" King springs on my Fox's..had to compress them a tad to get those sucker on

    Jordan has same 2.8 x8 but with 16" coils wich is strange because they both go all the way to the top of the shock.almost like my coilovers are longer than 8s lol.

    Aren't you engage? If so, your running a regular 8" which is longer than a short body 8" which has an external top t cap which takes up threads

    yes i am...got my shocks from dsm though...i do remember them talking about the top caps for jordans 1st gen.

    You have regular 8" shocks, I posted that before I saw your other pictures. That's why you can fit an 18" coil easy

    Gabe I have 3.5" with 600x16.0" springs and weight you should be fine with 16" and the front end weight you have.
