Mine has a sensor in the T-case. I have deleted all four wheel speed sensors and my speedo still works. There is your fix, put a transfer case in it. Seriously, chase down the wires and see what's up. It's pretty easy to mess up those sensors too, check your connections, and take them out and clean them.

Yep, those sensors go out fairly often when people do any work that requires unplugging them...

The manual trans have a tcase sensor. I believe that Rock Solid Toys came up with a conversion for those auto trans guys that are going to 1 ton axles. Get in touch with Wyatt (awsumdc) if you want to go that route.

So you hit the bolt towards the front of the truck and it will only go as far as the front diff? Am I understanding that correctly? If so...I'm assuming you have a diff drop. You have to remove the diff drop and jack the front diff up all the way in order for the bolt to come out all the way.

Yeah that's what I was going to try...front diff bolts didn't really want to come out either, they slide down with the diff but just the bolt won't slide out...would there be a problem installing a new bolt backwards? That way the diff not be in the way

It went almost as far as the diff...that was with slamming the bolt with a hammer, I don't think it would go any further. I was planning on cutting the head off and hitting it backwards

Means the front diff bolts that run through the crossmember are bent and likely the holes in the crossmember are ovalled (see below). I had to use an impact and a pry bar to get the front bolts out. From the picture, looks like your rack bolt is bent as well.

Sounds like your new project has been beat on!
