2.7 degrees should be fine but I think you would want to measure overall pinion change which in this case looks like 7.5 which I would say is still probably acceptable

A 2+ kit would be useless on 1st gens. Even with. 3.5+ kit your about as wide as a 2nd gen then.

Then wouldn't 2+ kits be useless on 2nd gens as well?

Since 2nd gens are wider stock, isn't the width between the coil buckets wider as well essentially yielding the same travel numbers increase from a 2+ kit?

I'm referring to your argument of a 3.5 kit being to wide. It's a useless argument. Might as well get a full kit for a 1st gen.

On 2nd gens it makes sense since they are wide to begin with. It's a good compromise.

Sounds like personal opinion to me :notsure:

I don't want that much width, just a little extra travel would be nice.

I dig the prerunner shocks with the 4wd, doesn't interfere with the axle at all?
I am kind of the same way, I am just going to run OEM length lowers with my uppers. More times than enough I can barely fit through something with mere inches to spare.

They also have stock length lowers. Forst set will be installed this month and then production. And they are cheaper than tc.

Nice to know, I didn't want the tc brand because of the price and I looked at lsk but my buddy is running them and isn't happy with them and I thought that was the only 2 options.

The first pair are laying on their work bench waiting to go on a truck to ensure they are happy with them before they make it public.

Same happened to me. On my replacements I took some 3/16" ABS and cut it down and folded it to box in the stock tabs then JB welded it to the tail light. Has been working great for 3 years now.

If in Cali why no front license plate? Two things Johnny-Q-Law can spot from the opposite side of the road are front license plate and mud flaps. Why go thru the risk of getting pulled over and them finding more wrong with your truck?

With built trucks like these, the cops could pull you over all day long for code violations. Plus front plates are just ugly and the owner probably just doesn't like the way it looks with a plate. In my experience very few cops will actually pull you over for no front plate.

No front plate since buying the truck, never been hassled. Ops are people too, and even they hey distracted by everything going on with the front of the truck so they won't even notice.

I know I'm playing with fire here and I'm bound to get a fix it ticket soon :p

I got popped for no front license plate twice, and once for no covers on my offroad lights. Guess it just depends on your area.
