Yup 5 lug. That lower Ball joint seems to be such a pain in the ass for both 5 and 6 lugs.

Instead of running something you don't want just make a couple of these until you find a good used set.

I was thinking about just using my front bumps to cycle it and weld in the cans, axle already has a strike pad. That looks cool and I have those little rubber bumps

Who's running 30" led bars on their second gen front bumper? I got a killer deal on a Baja Designs Pro Onx light and debating on putting it on the Tacoma or my Silverado.

This combo was only supposed to be a temporary setup but the rear end works so good that I have no motivation to change it up and go to a hydro bump back there. I've got the large square pyramid to work as some compression bumpstop and then made basically what's shown above with the hard rubber bumps to be my true uptravel limiter.

Pinch bolts are towards the inside to make sure that if the tire does make it over that far in an unforeseen extreme situation there's nothing sharp for it to run against.

Not the best photos but it's all I have right now...

Looking at used Ford 9 inch, looks like it might work for my application... Only thing I would change is the gearing (4.88 or 5.29) and add an ARB locker... Need to check if it has a parkign brake or not.

Also is the WMS wide enough? Thinking about the tacoma front end, WMS 60"~+ LT so that sets it at 67". The WMS on this guy is 65-5/8". With a lift on the front end might make it a little closer? Going to run shocks outside the frame and need the tires to clear them.

How does this look to you guys?

    Info:
Set at 65-5/8" WMS - 5x5.5 bolt pattern 1/2" studs, equal length axle shafts for ease of extra carry at 32" axle shafts.

CURRIE FABRICATED HOUSING - 3.25 TUBE - HOUSING CENTER WITH TUBES AND BILLET HOUSING ENDS.
    Currie back brace
    Skid plate.
    Fill and inspec hole/cap installed
Currie 35sp alloy axles with bearings seals 1/2" studs at 5x5.5" pattern
Yukon Super HD drop out with Load Bolt
    Yukon daytona pinion support
    Yukon 5.83 ratio gears
    Forged 1310 yoke.
    Yukon 35spline Spool
    Yukon master kit.
    Currie 11" disc brake kit
LCA brackets and Custom Upper center mount (for upper triang) CA brackets welded on

I bet you will be fine with that width. My 05 with a 67" WMS axle is the same width as the front. If anything, it might be a schoche wide to stuff the tires into your fenderwells, but that's nothing a sawzall can't fix. :D
