Any advice on removing the upper spindle bolts?? It wasn't this hard with my midtravel upper arms. I've soaked in pb blaster for a bit and even my impact driver isn't getting it off. Should I get a nut splitter? I tried heating the bottom nut a bit

EDIT: more heat finally did the trick

If any of you have ever re-valved dirt bike suspension you will understand that our truck shocks are a piece of cake compared to dirt bikes. The overall diameter is much smaller but holy shims! My forks base valving will have:

    (7) .15 x 30
    (2) .10 x 28
    (2) .10 x 26
    (2) .10 x 24
    (2) .10 x 22
    (2) .10 x 20
    (2) .10 x 18
    (2) .10 x 16

Modern twin chamber forks have a damper rod assembly that holds a valve stack (mid valve) and when the load gets to a certain point it forces the dampening to the base valve which has a separate high and low speed. And it also has compression and rebound adjusters that control bypass through the hollow center of the damper rod. Pretty neat, but not easy to tune lol :)

Wonder if PSC makes anything you can use on a 2nd gen. I'll call them up tomorrow to hear their 2 cents on the subject.

EDIT: Is it possible to take a ram and mount it where the rack goes, and just custom fab some tie rod ends with heim joints? You'd also need a higher volume pump and a bigger reservoir. A hydraulic assist ram steering setup would be sweet.

Does anyone have any Deaver F67s in good shape that they are looking to sell?

Feed back would be non existent, as well as self centering steering among many other things.

Hydraulic is kind of old fashioned. Electronic Power Steering is the future, but short of hacking apart a new Chevy pickup I don't know how to source the parts. The buggy dorks are converting to EPS and there is some aftermarket support there, but it's all centermount. I did notice that the new Tundra rack looks very similar to the Tacoma rack (just beefier). It might be a tad wide, but with different tie rods may be just the ticket for an easy upgrade. Anyone have access to a tundy to take some width measurements? Center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole, body width, arm length etc?

This is 100% true on full ram steering. But we routinely install ram ASSISTED steering kits on solid axle vehicles like Jeeps and Super Duty's, and they drive very nicely. Less feedback for sure, but steering returns to center every time and it definitely helps when you're locked in the front, aired down, on 37's or bigger tires.

Next time I get a 2014 Tundra in the shop, I'll do some snooping around. I get one or two in every month or so.

    Almost everything
Chaos has been using the new tundra rack on the mini (shop race truck) with pretty good results. They have only had 1 go out to my knowledge. Also solo did the tundra rack swap on the silver tacoma that's running there frontend. I haven't heard how its working though. I believe they had to shorten it to make it work though

Thanks for the offer. Pat at TC suggested F67s so I'm trying to go with that right now.

Does anyone have an 33x10R15 tires that they would trade for some 33x12.5R15 BFG all terrains? Mine are 90% and looking for the same. I will pay to swap tires.

What shackles are you running if you have those 9" shackles available? I was planning on running those F67s with a 12" shackle.

I would so the e30 pack and 12s. Instead of f67s
