    Went to press the old uniballs out for txmxer to discover misalignments and lower bolts were totally rusted. Couldn't even press the bolt out of the misalignments with a 20ton press. So we turn him a couple of misalignments to get him back up and going faster.8e2uvehe_485c092b31d3cdfe4124afeda3a5955937f08436.jpg

    It's a 2000 4x4 reg cab w/2.7, no bed, two spares, stock fuel tank, and rear tube work.

    I thought that the e30 pack is more of an HD pack and maybe overkill for such a light truck. Why would you choose it over the F67?

    I am going to stick with 12" shackles based on everyone's recommendations.

    well the reason for mine is that i have a fuel cell going to go to 35s with 2 spares back there and tubework also an extra cab. an d i plan on having some storage boxs added as well, and still have the bed for the most part and the f67s tend to sag out quick with weight.

    also up front i have an ESB kit thats at powdercoat that is 5.5 over and im going to run tens so it will sit a bit high and i want to be pretty level. i eventually will sell my f67s once i get the E30 pack

    Cant do rear without frame mods and shock relocation.

    Rear is a whole other story. And if you're going to do the rear, I suggest doing it first. personal experiences with mid rear and LT front were not good.

    Need some info on some cage tube. I'm thinking of running .120 wall DOM 1.5" tube. But my bumpers are going to be 1.75". Should I stick to 1.75 for everything? Or can I get away with 1.5" for the cage. Thoughts?

    Been eye balling it, was gonna pick up the +2 kit from the Co guy since it came with shocks but it sold before I could get the funds together.
    Thought all cages were 1.75? I could be wrong

    Your tubing diameter is all based on the weight of your truck. A light weight early gen Tacoma is probably fine with a 1.5" or 1.75" cage. A fat heavy 2nd Gen is going to need to have at least a 1.75" cage or even 2" cage. My old truck was 6000lbs full of fuel and tools.

    However, having a 1.5" or 1.75" well built cage is still ten times better than not having one at all.

    Most of my logic about cages comes from racing regulations according to your trucks weight. At 4000 lbs you have to have a certain cage configuration and they break it all down Barney style. At 6000lbs they have their own specifications etc.
