    My entire truck is 1.75 .120 wall. Using the term "overkill" for any piece of safety equipment is silly but we didn't do 2" to try and save some weight and probably shaved 300 lbs if my math is correct? Not 100% sure on the specific number but I'm 100% confident that even with as heavy as my truck is 1.75 will hold up just fine in a roll, not that I ever plan on testing it (knock on wood)

    1.75 tubing is the normal standard for cage tubing for regular size trucks now.
    Like many guys said on here, if you have a 2nd gen 4-door I would go with 2 inch. But it is based off of weight of truck etc.... In the early 2000's many race trucks had only 1.5 .120 wall mild steel tubing and it was race legal and fine. (as long as it passed Tech, was structured right with proper gussets) Some guys grandfathered in still race with 1.5 tubing. But now a days I'd go with at least 1.75 even on a small size truck

    Fiberglass fender question. Trying to take off my passenger fender but can't get the antenna mount dismounted.

    I ended up just cutting mine. You can buy a new assembly and re route it through the old opening.

    That's what I did. It sticks to the inside of the windshield and gives you about 75% of your stock antenna reception. Much better than nothing!

    Yeah that antenna was a pain in the ass. Mine was corroded and locked up... I didn't want to damage my fenders either so I cut my antenna out.
    I sold my bumper, bumper support and fenders for $300 on craigslist. I think I could of gotten more, but he wanted to buy everything so I gave him a deal. Made space and almost covered the cost of my new fiberglass fenders.

    If you build hiemed uppers the tubes should be parallel or it wont bolt up properly when adjusted.

    off topic.....what are you guys thoughts on running the Wilwood Forged Superlite Internal Brake Calipers (4 piston 1.380 in. diamater piston with a .810" rotor) for a full size tundra in the rear. my truck is around 6K lbs. camburg sell this on their site, but im thinking that this may be pretty small for my truck and wont stop it safely.

    80+% of stopping power is from the front. Concentrate there before doing the rear imo.

    That said wilwood shit is awesome. I think that caliper would work fine if you had a good setup up front to go with it

    front is stock still. rear is only changing because i got a new rear end.

    wilwood said that with the weight of my vehicle that it wouldnt be safe with that set up i posted.

    seeing as camburg sells this set up i would assume it would work...
