    Wasn't have much luck in the 1st gen thread with helping info, thought maybe u 1st gen guys with lt have dealt with this more. It's been crooked since new rack went in.

    I'm trying or was to center my steering wheel by moving shaft over a cpl splines. I got the two vertical bolts with nuts off, not enough movement to clear the two studs that have just nuts on bottom, even with top bolt that clamps to shaft spline loosened and pushed up. Any tips? It's almost like the two studs need to be pushed or pounded up out of piece. I was so close but didn't want to break anything before our glamis run in less than 2 weeks lol

    i thought i posted? takeout the 2 sideways 12mm bolts. and slide the clamp piece off the rack. turn and reinstall. dont mess with the vertical bolts or studs

    U did lol. U were the only reply and I asked a few more questions with no responses, haha. That makes a lil more sense. I loosened both of those but also had the other loosened so guess I was sorta fighting myself ha. I'll give it a go again tomorrow after work. I tend to over think and complicate things :D Thank you :thumbsup:
