That's not a shock bolt. That's my front diff bolt.
I have bent the lower rear shock bolts as well.

How were the Mis-alignments that the bolt was going thru?? That usually happens when the mis-alignmets are Ovaled out or have a little slack at the mounting spot. They can slightly bend,
But like I said, I have NEVER seen a grade 8 Bolt sheer when mounted proper.
By the way JBerry, How have you been brotha!! long time no talk

Yes...they can. Like I said, I bent the lower rear shock bolts twice, last time so bad that I had to cut the bolt off to get it out.

No mis-alignments. Front diff bolt that runs through the arms on the front of the diff and thru the crossmember. The driver's side arm also bent and had to be replaced.

I'm hanging in there. Same old shit.

Oh yeah, I've bent the lower coilover mounting bolt in my truck. Had to cut it and use an air hammer to get it out. It was a fine thread grade 8.

I just relocated mine slightly (can't find a pic). Seems to be holding up so far. I didn't tub or remove the inner fender though. Just massaged it a whole lot with a BFH.

I took my new truck "Martha" out to Lucerne this weekend. She did great but still needs a lot of shock tuning but even more driver tuning. Driving this little beast is a lot different than a huge 2nd Gen.

I'm going to revalve the rear bypasses softer, add front bypasses, revalve coilovers and see how she does.

^^^^^^ Clean truck. I saw "Martha" last weekend in Lucerne. Once you get it dialed in how you like, It will be a fun little shredder!!
