The driver was KO-ed. I saw that somewhere else and it had the full story attached to it. Blacked out after it rolled and the driver slammed the gas down.

What do your tabs look like? I had the same problem on my hellas, Then a shop told me to use a bigger tab like the hella 4000 tabs.

    Question:
Are any of you 2wd second gen guys, either LT or mid travel running a slip joint in the rear piece of the driveshaft? My center support bearing is pretty much toast. I took it to a shop today and he said that the rear end is trying to pull the first piece of the shaft. Said the slip joint would help. If you have had this done how much did it cost. I have the new carrier bearing. He quoted me $350 to swap the bearings and add the slip. I don't think that had u joints included. Should I get all 3 new anyway? If yes, then greasable splicers?

I'm hoping this will fix the issue. This is also what I would need to do anyway for a rear spring under setup right?

You pretty much have to run a slip joint if you're going to run a rear LT Setup as the driveshaft needs someway of shortening up with all the uptravel.

As for the carrier bearing I'd check this out:

wish i could tell you. welded on my center tab, mounted it, and wired it up. unfortunately i didn't have any time to aim it before heading out for wheeling last weekend, so when i got there it was aimed straight down  seemed bright though lol. just got around to reaiming it a couple hours ago so we'll see next time

    looks good at least.

My old tabs looked like those, once I put the other tabs on the vibrations went away. What kind of lights are you running?

It was Mckenzies who told me to use a tab with some vertical supports.

Yea I had read that. So as long as I get that slip added I can mount that bearing on? I'll have the driveline shop do it so I don't want to take it to them and tell me it won't work.

I think its a combination of the lights being plastic and those takes are just flat. My tabs are formed to the bar so its reinforced.

I would try the Tabs, I was reading somewhere about people saying those lights have some vibrations to them because of the design for vertical adjustments.

    Tabs Im running.
