What are things circled? I thought bumps at first but you have them.

Edit: I have no idea why ghetto was in that statement. Phone sucks I guess. Nothing ghetto I see in that photo.

Right on, so welded gussets on without spacers in and wedging bumps into bump cans that are in the wrong spot and need to be moved.. seems legit.

Kidding, you'll get it, will be a fun truck with that kit and links.
I'd just get those outer misalignments turned down on a lathe and call it a day.

anybody have pictures or info on the LSK lower control arm solid mount setup? I saw somewhere that someone had mentioned they make a setup but couldn't find much anywhere on it... thanks in advance. Oh and I have LCA cam tab gussets from TC but i'm still struggling to keep an alignment for long (probably the derlin in the DK lowers i have)...I know i'll have to run a heimed upper and am going to make the jump if that's what it takes to keep my shit aligned!

They are to hold the axle from twisting since there are no upper links.

Yep, they are 2.5" air shocks with a shit load of valving and 550psi of nitrogen to set the pinion on the axle. they also help with sway.

That's a good set up Landon. My buddy has the same set up on his truck. It helped with sway also like you said

Giant quoted me a month wait. Gives, me time to install the new rear end and cage the cab. Waiting on tying into the engine cage in case I have to rebuild it for my upper coilover mounts. Looks like it's going to come down to the wire this year again for the superstition meet.

Yup. No going back now. Almost completely stripped the front non essentials. On the hunt for d44 beams. I need to research what I need to convert to 6 on 5.5 since I love my alcoas. Unless anyone is interested in polished star alcoas ??

    question for you caged guys

front to back cage on my 2nd gen is starting in a few weeks, what have you guys done to suppress noises? i heard expanding foams a bad idea but couldn't remember why. i know its going to be loud but its not a DD however id still like it to be as quiet as possible. i have more than enough raamat tile along with ensolite and mass loaded vinyl to do over 100% coverage of the whole truck and will be having the interior upholstery all redone afterwards to go over all that.

but what I'm asking about is what can i do to quiet the cage itself its going to be solid mounted and i would like to lower bypass clicks and engine noise ringing through the tube as much as possible.

    thanks guys

If you are going to upholster over the cage wrap the cage in the MLV.

Well good luck. Every caged 2nd gen I've been in has been loud.

Take a good look at the luxury prerunners out there as those are typically pretty quite.

Cage will amplify your bypasses opening and closes. Click clack lol. Foam inside is not the best for a few reasons. If you ever have to cut or weld afterwards, it'll catch fire. Also there is an argument to be made about the foam retaining moisture, leading to rusting inside out. I would foam block in between all tubes, upholster the foam and get a bitchin stereo lol
