So I haven't recharged my coil overs in four years. The front of the truck is starting to sag pretty bad. Going to get them rehashed tomorrow (48 bucks... Rip off but it's the only place with N2). Here's to hoping that I get some dampening and ride height back.

    ...too much shit to list.
Nitrogen isn't going to change ride height. You really think air will hold your truck up higher?

Isnt that the idea behind ori's and air shocks? Always thought the 150psi charge made a slight difference?

The ORI's have a pretty big surface area so they have more inches pushing down plus I run my ORI's at 850+psi just to get 3" of lift out of them.

So the 150 psi in your shocks will help a little it is pretty neglible. The difference probably isn't even measurable with a tape measure.

If a shock was totally blown, wouldn't you expect to lose a little ride height as the springs take 100% of the weight?

I understand that 150 psi doesn't hold the truck up

I would expect zero height change

You think it's just the spring wearing out as the cause of the loss of ride height?

It's to the point that my UCA heims are at odd angles and my camber is off.

All the nitrogen does is push a little ifp (internal floating piston) inside the resi against the fluid inside the shock while the piston connected to the shaft moves up and down through the fluid, pushing the shims and forcing through.
Shocks are for dampening. coils are for ride height/spring
Your coils are probably worn. Or you need an alignment.

Pretty sure this combo plus a TRD blower and some awesome long travel suspension work would make the greatest home built race truck ever

All springs and leafs are a wear items. They all wear out and all need replaced at some point.

This! I should add that with my ORI's I can add 600 psi to them and it doesn't move up off the bumps at all. It doesn't start to move until the 700 psi range.

We went prerunning for a small local race this past weekend in my truck and surprisingly with the Lowrance GPS we only saw about a 2-3 mph difference. Speedo hit 80-ish and the GPS said 78.8 was our top speed, but it was on a flat section of the course... no 90 on whoops for me haha

Pretty damn close. I was trying to upload a video of the 6100 truck hitting the whoops in Lucerne for comparison since that was about 90 but the quality sucks. I'm sure most people have seen it since it went viral on Instagram and was shared everywhere (thanks mom truck) 90 is really fast, like tuned trophy truck fast so im skeptical.
