You could always try and cram it in the stock spare location. Or recess it into the bed, then you don't really lose any bed space (hypothetically)

I know that would be ideal, but I think the width between the frame rails is like 32-33", so a 35" wouldn't sit down in between. I may just have to lay it flat, then when I carry my bikes, put it vertically between them. Or get a trailer

You can always use a joe hauler and throw a bike on the hitch. Maybe notch the rails to fit if you were really committed? Its hard to say... I have a tundra so my bed is wider. Anthony fits 2 bikes in his first gen but im not sure if he takes a spare.
    Wish i could help more

I'm just gonna go ahead and order some glass at the beginning of the year so that when I start building my new truck at the end of the year...it should probably be there by then.

they'll fit, they fit in the "Kansas prerunner" SMP built and I'm most likely ditching the center console/dash and door skins. but they'll fit without doing that SMP fit 4 of em

Any of the half sized rims (16.5, 22.5, etc) have a much higher load rating than a comparable "normal" light truck tire due to the bead angle being more flat. That angle is also why they have gained the reputation of easily popping a bead when ran at trail psi. Beadlocks fix that problem. All heavy duty applications still use half sizes, but as light truck rim diameter has increased and sidewalls decreased load capacity went up, which is why a lot of diesel one tons run 20" rims. The reason all those military tires are so cheap is because they are surplus and you can bid on them by the thousand for pennies on the dollar. My buddy got a train car full of them for $600!

Any one heading out to the race in Barstow tomorrow?

    Almost everything
A 35 just barely fits between the rails. On my truck I will have a full size spare under the bed. I cut out the stock crossmember and built a new one that's higher up so it doesn't hang really low

they ditch them when brand new with tits on them if they have been sitting on shelf too long, one base told me they replace all 5 tires if more than one gets hit in battle then the other 3 go to be auctioned off.

Just remember that your over 4000lbs so you need to be at 2" to be legal. 1.75" is up to 4000lbs. If your serious about it being legal pick up the SCORE rule book and follow it to a T otherwise you may pay for a "race legal" cage and not meet your goal.
