picked up a seal today, going to mess with it in a few. After looking at it I think I going to be able to get away with pulling the yoke and pulling the ol one and tapping in the new. Might do a small bit of RTV for peace of mind. If you guys are interested I will post pics. I know these type of things dont make it on here much.

First time messing with glass bedsides, wanted to see what you guys think of the body lines, etc, according to my shitty pics. Not bolted in yet all the way and the supports arent in but the majority if not all the trimming is done on this side.

not bad. id advise to keep them as far back from the cab as possible to prevent the tapping/banging from cab wobble in shutter bumps.

Thanks! Ill do that, the pics make it look closer to the cab than they are theres a decent amount of space left. I took the dremel and ground down a little bit of the edge on the composite bed.

Sure did! Was supposed to get all the shocks revalved tomorrow but come to find out kar tek was closed today for the holidays and I couldnt pick up the shims or those coils. Spoke with tim at dmz and he said the stock shims and settings on fox 16" triples are a good starting point so im going to do that. Not sure on the coilovers yet

Anybody have some thoughts on this issue:

I got some fox 2.5 that I was trying to throw on my 05 t4r, after installing them I couldn't reconnect my TC UCA to the knuckle. I even tried jacking up the truck on the lower control arm and I still couldn't get the two parts connected. The spring was hitting the UCA. Any thoughts? I got the shock through a friend of a friend who said that the shock was off a hi lux but should work on my t4r BC of the 650# spring...

You have to find out if you have a solid spacer or a crush sleeve in there first. If you have a crush sleep do not take that Yoke off, you will mess up the adjustment on the gears and have to redo everything

I'm really surprised how hard it is to find info out about differentials. Doesn't help that strange is closed until Monday.

take the yoke off, if there's a solid spacer behind it on the shaft then you can just re-assemble everything and torque to spec, if it has a crush sleeve then you will need someone who knows what they're doing to help you out. I don't have a pic of a crush sleeve but you can find it on google
