    ...too much shit to list.
Don't really price out stuff for Icon, but I doubt they are nearly half the price of King shafts.

No. Just nomenclature/verbiage from one guy to the next. Same shit.

Emulsion shocks are nitrogen charged too. Emulsions don't have a dividing piston (IFP) to separate the nitrogen cavity from the oil cavity. Bumps for all intensive purposes are emulsion shocks.

Seal kits are roughly $25-30 each. You'll need about a half gallon of oil. They don't sell half gallons so you're looking at about $35 for oil. Last I checked, King shafts started about $60 each depending on length. And if you don't have a nitrogen setup, plan on $20 per shock to charge, maybe more if they don't already have an Icon hypodermic needle adapter to charge them. So you're looking at least at $250 if you rebuild them yourself. This assumes nothing else is wrong. With as pitted as the shafts look, the likelihood of spherical bearings being worn and/or pitted is high. That's another $15 each (2 per shock). Given at least one is DR, I can only assume the wear bands are toast by now. That's another $15 each. Again given the age, I automatically assume the springs are clapped out, that's another $100 each (springs are consumables). And unless you like shocks that look like shit, plan on the little things like steel wool, wd-40, clear coat, thread locker, etc. And...that's assuming everything else else is fine (seal cap, piston, valve shims, etc).

You can do the math as well as I can, and that's assuming you do the work yourself. But to put things in perspective, a brand spanking new set of non-resi King shocks are less than $1000.

Oh and if you're not doing the work yourself and shipping them, don't forget about shipping costs. Coilovers aren't light. Plan on at least $60 each way.

Yeah you're right, just checked the invoice. Got priced out at $55 each + labor.

2"over LT kits use the same 8" Coilovers that regular 3.5" over kits use right? I feel like I remember someone on here saying otherwise but I'm not 100% sure

how imperative is it to have the tc rack bushings?
mine were clapped so i threw the new rack in with the stock bushings
how shitty is that going to be for it in the dirt? seems like quite a bit more movement in the rack with the stock bushings

Take any coilovers travel length and double it, that's the standard coil length

14s go on standard or extended travel coil overs. Not for long travel

Detroit most likely. And since the third is In pieces that's why I'm going to wait. So I don't have to pay 2 times to get it installed

Yeah Juan, We have been running Detroit Lockers since early 2000's. Good product, we have never had any issues over the years.
