I'll add .005 to them next time lol. They were laser precise on the files. Sorry you had to grind them out.

Kyle and Jeff, why design them with the diagonals not connected at the top? This is not criticism but a legitimate question. Does the gap not open it up to a bending moment? Also if they came together at a point would it not let you weld the "point" and the top "cover" plate all in one weld vs. 2 seperate welds? Otherwise they look nice!

Honest answer would be that I drew this up on paper and gave it to my buddy to input onto cad for me and that's just how he spaced them, haha

My reason being is if these ribs were to meet, the top plate would have a much wider weld gap to fill. I spread mine out to spread out those weld slots. Also, it was easier lol. If these parts were laser cut, it would go together like legos. There is a limit on a plasma table as far as precision goes. It took a lot of measuring and test cuts to get Tylers ribbing close, and he still had to grind it out a bit. I'll be adding a 3rd rib to mine on the next set for peace of mind. Then we will see how good my drawing/cut work is lol. Fingers crossed.

You think I haven't thought of that? I'm always thinking of that. And looking for someone to do the work.

    Seriously.

Little video the owner put together. Truck still needs more tuning but fast out the box with some bypass tweaks. This is Evan Hughes plaster city west. 65-90 mph

The beams aren't difficult, the steering is the only part that needs some elbow grease. Mine should have been done by now but side work is keep me preoccupied. Running an 88 4x power steering box. I'm drawing up everything for my swing steering as well.

The issue for me is pushing the beams forward to clear 37s. Current motor oil pan is in the way. I need to find a motor to mock up to see how far I can move the beams forward.

Also, with the selling of your current set up, you would really only be a few hundred $ into the beams, - shocks. And no more steering rack !

Not much more work granted he is already with a transfer case. Same steering, pretty much the same pivot points.

So any valving suggestions? I can see that my rebound doesn't appear fast enough as my rear tires are leaving the ground between whoops? But is that what is causing the bucking or would stiffer comp help as well?

I'm running smooth bodies not bypasses in the rear. I have a 15 stack with a flutter on comp and an 8 stack with the 4th shim removed.

I'm thinking about putting the 4th shim back in and pulling the 3rd and 5th and/or drilling my free bleeds larger to get faster rebound.

The first 3 passes are wide open readi g about 45-50 on the speedo in 4wd and the 4th pass is light throttle doing about 30mph.
