    Hey gents I was wondering how far should I place the top tube from the front of the grill. It's at 7 3/4" from the front of the grill.

    That truck in the video is on all kings. 2.5 coilovers and 3.0 bypasses front and rear. The other truck(shortbed) is going bigger and fox shocks. 3.5 bypasses.

    Definitely want the TTB greatness. Already have a transfer case, and thanks to Flaunt a lot of the guesswork has been figured out. The main dilemma for me is to decide if I want to do a bronco/f150 frame graft like him, or build mounts off my frame. It's a 6 lug frame, so it's stronger than his 5 lug frame was. It's also got a full engine cage so it would be a lot of work and money to cut it off. Especially cuz it's mostly 4130.

    I think I've got the room on the frame to fit a steering box, the radiator looks to have been moved forward from stock. The only other issue is finding a rear sump oil pan. I have heard that one from a T100 is what I need, and that some other years with a 3.0 might work. Still figuring that out. I've got all the dimensions for a bronco/f150 frame that I'm gonna compare to the frame on my truck once I get off work for my weekend on Wednesday morning.

    Ive been considering linking the rear instead of going the SUA route. Ive had my eye on the Giant dd link. I dont want to have to move my fuel tank and want to keep as much bed space as I can. Is anyone here running that setup that can shed some light on it. Likes/dislikes? What youd change or add to it?
    Also on the site it says you dont need bypasses right away, why is that? New to most of this so still learning and trying to get as much info as possible! Thanks in advance!

    If you're Washington I'm assuming this is more of a play truck that's not running extremely rough trails, so you should be fine without bypasses

    Yeah I wouldnt be running extremely rough trails unless I end up moving back to CA or when I come down to visit family haha. If Im not running bypasses, would I need stiffer coils? New to this so please excuse any stupid questions.

    Overall it's great, has some issues but it will work better on a Tacoma than my tundra.

    Ditch the air shocks and run a single upper link to set the pinion. I'm running 600psi in mine and it's still not enough but I have a lot of torque, low gearing and a very heavy axle

    Oh okay I saw the single upper link on DMCtacoma's build. Yeah probably come down to trial and error when I am able to get it on and set up im sure. Are you looking at running 650 or even going up to 700?
