    hmmm thats weird. I know the blue race truck that I posted in the other thread had a 2 piece drive shaft as well. I know single cabs run a 1pc shaft.

    2nd gen peeps have a horrible time with stock 2 pieces, just ask anyone on ttora, including bajamoon on here. Im running a one piece, just hope it doesnt bind at the tranny when i take her out

    Sounds like you guys are screwed all the way around then. crazy side mount conversions, now converting to a 1 piece. While us 1st gen guys have it made:D

    Ya it is. I heard today from someone that BLM is fighting them putting it at the crash site. I guess there trying to work out a compromise :(

    That can be more true with stock or mildly modified 2nd Gens using factory pinion angle.

    When I did my SUA 62" kit the first time and had to re-do pinion angle etc I lost all the vibes. I had to redo my drive shaft the second time during the 9" swap because I went to a 1350 U-joint. I choose to keep it a 2 pc instead of going to a one piece.

    Our 2001 Class 7 Tacoma has a 2 pc drive shaft and it does fine as well.

    I think bottom line is each truck is different DC, AC, SB, LB etc (wheel bases, 2wd/4wd etc. You really have to dial it in for the truck rather than go with a fixed solution.

    That would make sense, I had to redo my pinion angle on my 01 I think it shifted the first time around, changed it when I did ubolt eliminator
