There's some other stuff that goes into the alignment of you want a comfortable/easy DD ride to compensate for road crown. I don't do it on my Tacoma, but I do on my tow pig. PM me if you want specifics.

That's not bad at all I will definitely look into getting these shocks then and give you guys a call about a rebuild and install because you have to custom make new shock mounts of I'm not mistaken?

I don't plan on going through the bed I'm going to figure out a way to custom mount them in the fender well somewhere but what I'm trying to get my hands on some fox 2.0x14 rear shocks that's just need a rebuild

Downsouth will do the shocks perfectly, but they are not a fabshop to build a cage or anything. Plenty of shops around SD to do that work. Even a few members on here that will do equally good work for you.

I wouldn't go that direction. Wait until you have the funds saved up to do it right. If you are just going to throw 14" shocks with the stock leaf pack/hanger location you won't see/feel any real benefit. Just buy some factory location replacement shocks that DSM can set up better than your current stock.

Yea I really don't want to cage the rear end or anything I want my entire bed because I use it alot and I want to kind of hide all the work I can keep it looking as stock as possible by mounting inside the fender or something the rear end will probably have to be completely custom work and I'll spend the extra money on it to get it that way

this is for a standard 2.0 shock. we do not do installs or work on vehicles, we only work on shocks. so you would have to bring/send us the shock.

I'm not going to just throw these in by any means trust me I just don't want to go through the bed this is going to be a huge project but found a killer deal on used shocks I'm going to get them and sit on them till I have the funds for a little bit of customizing the rear end

Haven't seen any 14" shocks fitting inside there. 12" would be a better option if you are just planing that. Its more of a midtravel setup to get as much downtravel, but us LT guys need more up travel....hence the SUA.

I'm not sure what SUA is? But yea I use my bed constantly and really don't want to cut it out if I don't have to but want as much performance as I can get only being 2wd with no locker at times means I need to go faster then my suspension can handle so trying to get the rear end to fit if possible

What do you want out of it? There's only so much space to work with until you have to cut into the bed and go spring under. A simple tape measure will show you that.
