what experiences have you been through?

i have just hit rocks going too fast with too low of air pressure in the tire, and it bends/breaks the wheel. i broke 3 out of 4 alumimum wheels (over a course of about 3 years) before swapping to steelies. The steelies will just bend and you can wack it back with a hammer.

The picture above is of my truck after a steel wheel ripped off. I checked the torque on my lug nuts about 10 minutes before that happen. It wasn't the first time either, time before that I went to air down a little bit more and noticed the wholes were rounding out.

Ok. Yeah the bora spacers are hub centric. I don't actually know what the difference between them is other than lug centric appears to be weaker? It seems All Pro sells lug centric... What do ya know haha

Since I cut off the back of my frame completely, if you wanted to trace it out on construction paper, I could cut you a set after converting the template to a DXF file and ship em your way.

If any of you 5-lug guys want a wider rear end I have the one off my truck for sale. Has 4.88 gears an auto locker, trussed and tabbed for links but you can cut them off obviously.

Hey guys let me get your opinions. I haven't been doin the desert thing as much as I used to. I spend most of my time in the mountains now and have really been wanting to do an expo build.

I love my truck and it does great up there but the cage isn't super practical for up there..I'm mostly referring to the bed cage.

I was thinking of selling or trading for an already built mid travel perhaps..that's option 1. Other option would be to do some modifications to the cage in the rear which I sort of think would be a waste of a perfectly good bed cage. I'm about 500 miles away from 100k if that makes a difference.

Are you just wanting to carry more gear in the bed of your truck?

I say, adjust what you have to fit your needs. maybe remove the bed cage and do a cati set up, or cut it down to a bed saver cage, and you can build a bed rack too to hold gear. i built a bed rack to go over the bed cage to carry gear and i love it! it made it so i can actually bring a cooler and chairs and what not... Haha!

Your bedcage is already pretty lowpro and the center is fully open. Geometry wise not sure what could be moved. What can't you store back there that you want? A RTT?

I would just mod your truck to fit your needs. I did the same with mine. Its LT rear and I fit all kinda if crap there.
