the 2nd gen chaos shock hoop should only be used on the 5 lug.

6 lugs are too heavy and over work the 2.0 shock quickly. a 2.5 shock will not fit in the hoop.

your better off going with a simple bedcage directly behind the cab to maximize bed space

yep... honestly just have a simple bed cage built that uses the outer edges of the bed if you still want a functional bed.

Solo cage deal is sweet. If they do it for a Taco I will be one of the first in line for sure.

I was approved to "Finish" my truck sometime between now and shortly after the wedding in April. Of course finished can mean a lot of things but at the least it was understood cab and engine cage were part of that :D

No 2nd gen, soon after I cage ill be getting a full size though, Either a Chevy Diesel or a Tundra.

And yeah approved would be from the soon to be wife. Slipping that much money past her and adding all that tube to the truck without her noticing defiitly sint possible haha

That's perfectly fine if you're just fucking around. But if you're grand plan is to race, you're truck gets inspected and your cage has to be tagged.

meaning ask for forgivness from the wife for doin what YOU wanted to do to YOUR own truck.

has nothing to do with racing/tech/or tagging.

Well you didn't quote, so I assumed you were referring to the last post (which was mine).

And when you're married, there's no such thing as YOUR "_InsertAnythingHere_"

Oh no its still understood that it is MY truck haha. We agreed a long time ago that that would never change. Her truck woulda been same way but she decided to sell it when we bought her brand new Scion Tc back in May.

100% My truck and I aint givin it up, expect that she drives it constantly (but always asks first)

ahhh my mistake. i tend to never quote hoping to get the post right below the one im replying to. obviously doesnt always happen that way hahaha. but yes that is true. ive noticed that even with my current situation. it isnt so much her telling me i can or cannot as she knows it makes me happy and she would never take something that makes me happy away, its more we have a priority list and sometimes the truck is higher on mine than hers lol. im just giving yall a healthy dose of shit. welcome back to the work week guys! hahaha
