Gotcha. DSM or DC shock services should be able to help you out. I haven't done enough of them to remember what the shim stacks are. If your looking for an upgrade get icons. Imo best out of the box tuned raptor shock.

I believe 11 balls for compression / 6 for rebound is what works the best on a raptor...

    Seems about right...

Never pulled them apart or read anywhere online how they were valved and was more or less curious. I can't justify new shocks for what I do. I'm pretty impressed with how them come!

ugh, if you only had thats 7th :(

No, I would like to pull the trigger on something different. It sits in the garage enough as it is right now I might as well be spending my time preping a race truck as opposed to staring at this thing

I don't really want to list a price as this will likely be the lowest I would be willing to let it go for since I would like to pull the trigger on something soon so if someone has cash in hand I'm willing to make a good deal but @jeffz0rz has the right idea. Its a really solid truck but there is still some work to be done like the engine cage, additional cooling, and putting the interior back together but thats all minor in comparision to whats already been done and the parts I've used.

Have you done the mid perch on the front shocks yet? Helps level it out and firm up the ride a little. For a fire road running full size they aren't too bad. Just the price of them is tough to swallow.

I haven't done mid perch, I don't think I will? I haven't been in any serious whoops yet, but I like how it rides and performs. I'm waiting on a bumpstop kit and then we'll see how it does?

It is tough to swallow the price! But it's worth it to me and wish I would have went this route to begin with, would have saved a ton of money! Nothing near what my Tacoma could do in the dirt but I hardly see the dirt anyways and the raptor is suited better for a DD.

That's the first photo I've seen of your rig. Looks awesome. You have a build thread? Sorry your selling it.

Would be a bummer to see it go after all the hard work you've invested in it but you've been around racing too long to deny yourself the pleasure of having your own race truck! Hopefully you'll find an RDC type with some money to spend that will be willing and able to pay you what that thing is worth.

Sad to see it go but excited for it to be sold to see what comes next, good luck!

It will be hard to part with it but I would like to see it go to someone that is going to use it more than I will. Ideally I would like to finish it myself since I am so close but cash talks and most of the time I spend in the dirt these days is at the races anyway so buying a second race vehicle to give some of the guys on the team that wouldnt normally get a chance to race to see what its all about outside the pits. Would be an easy transition too if we paired up with the 6100 so we could utilize the same pits and either race at separate times or all at the same time.

Really? I've posted a ton of photos of it, I don't have a build thread. Most of it was built while I was on hiatus from TW so I didnt really document it well but if I post up a formal for sale thread I'll throw together a parts list. Its a cool truck, and in reality I will probably keep it since selling it is going to be hard but if I could unlad it and get into something a little more specialized I wouldnt complain.

Are you thinking about Trophy Lite? For the money its not far off from the price of a full 2nd Gen build anyway.

I sure am. I co-drove in one for a couple seasons before the 6100, I've ridden in that thing off and on the past 2 seasons but its time to get behind the wheel and see if I can hang. I have a good deal on one loaded up with spares but a straight trade is not in his cards even though he sounds intrigued by the 4 seat family wagon.
