You can trade me exhausts for my flowmaster, as long as you're accelerating you wont even hear your wife fart in the passenger seat, trust.

Will depend on your wheels. You'll need about 3.5'' backspacing minimum. 3'' would be best.

Lots of hammering and trimming the fenders too.

295s are a good option too. So are 305s if you're on a 17'' rim. I think the 305s are the perfect size for 2nd gens.

I have 4'' bs rims and clear 315's with a tc spindle gusset.

Ok I have 16x8 method double standards so if I remember correctly, they are 0 offset, 4.5 backspacing... I hope I'm right haha so you guys think I should go with 305s instead of 315s? Ideally I was hoping to get my hands on a 315 size tire so mock up and cycle the suspension but discount tires ebay page has a decent sale that ends tomorrow

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but looking to order an LT kit for 2014 4x4. Anyone ever disable 4x4 by taking out the front axel? Is this a bitch to do? Was thinking I could just rock 2wd for a bit and not have to put out an additional 700 for axel shafts.

You'd need 17'' rims for the 305s though. they are basically a 34x11. look good i think on 2nd gens. What my dad runs. Don't have to trim quiet as much.

You'd have to remove the entire diff..

Just save up and get the axles.

    315's won't clear on a 4.5" BS. Need 4.25" minimum and 4" is optimal.

You need to pull the half shafts only. Leave the inner bell stub in the diff and the outer cv stub in the spindle/wheel bearing. The outer holds the wheel bearing together and the inner seals the diff from from the elements.

I had 315/75R16 with 4.5 BS on my chaos kit

You want 35s so you have the ground clearance. I smoked my skid on a gravel road with 33s and 35s were just enough to barely clear on flat ground.

The max BS you can have is 4.75"

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
Sounds like my steering rack is starting to go, you guys recommend a remanufactured one or new form Toyota? Haven't priced anything out yet just looking for advice first.

This is what I thought, but issues leaving connected to the spindle with the longer LCAs? Hard to remove the half shafts?

That still seems like more work than its worth. Just wait like a few weeks and get the shafts before installing.
