    I don't see a problem with it. Long as the motor was well maintained it'll be fine.

    I have a friend with a boosted 5vz that he didn't boost till 186k. Well over 220k now.

    Hmm now we're talking... Toyota OEM filters and OEM synthetic oil every 5000k on the money till 148k... Then solely Mobil 1 synthetic every 5000 and sometimes sooner. When I resealed the timing cover she looked purdy...

    do they make superchargers for street bikes?
    i just assumed a turbo would be the only thing they had for a streetbike motor.

    hell yeah!! man up and make it out :D

    Turbo is the way to go. There isnt a crank snout or pulley to attach a supercharger to unless you go custom.

    Don't think I ever posted this pic in here... Remember when I was installing LT and couldn't get my stupid Driver side LCA in? Well I beat the crap out of the mounts and barely made it wedge in there. Now it's destroying my bushing on one side and not touching the other side...

    Is that a thing? I figured it couldn't be bent frame because the distance between the mounts was too far... Don't see how that could happen. Yet I don't see how a total chaos LCA wouldn't be perfect size...

    allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
    Things move when you weld them, and most of the jigs for LT kits are on the tight side from what I have seen.

    That problem has been posted a few time with TC lowers, that is way out of spec though. Don't mean to sound rude but you really should have returned those to TC and not installed them... have you tried calling them and sending them that photo ? Maybe they would be willing to help you with it ?

    Both kits could very likely come out of the same LCA jig, your kit is nice just an anomaly issue with something out of spec a bit. You should give them a call today and describe the issue to them and send them the photos. Best case scenario is that they may send you a replacement with a deposit then have you ship back the bad one ?

    When you guys are doing tube work and end up capping a tube end, do you do anything to the inside before closing it off to prevent rust?
