Ok cool, thank you very much for the help. Whatever's in them now has me bucking all over regardless of how much I open or close them, so I got sick of it and decided to just rebuild them.

Lack of uptravel from the Chevy leafs could be makin you buck. Post up what's in the shocks currently when you open them up

Will do, but the way I set them up they have 8" of up travel. It rides bouncy too like there's not even a shock on it.

8" isn't too bad, could be blown shocks or bad valving

besides looking like a total goober, is there anything bad to running no shocks for a day or 2? welded diffs, sticky 37s, and a top speed of 30 for the rock crawler isnt ideal for the next 2 days, and the big block 66 chevy isnt fun when its 31* in the mornings isnt ideal either. litterally driving probably 11 miles total the next 2 days just for class. just making sure im not gonna hurt the springs too much, they have been on the truck only 4 months also

Long as your not hitting high way speeds you'll be okay around town. Like under 35

I'm considering a engine cage do to my current situation with my build. I'm not familiar with them. Is there anywhere where I can read up on them. Any info would be appreciated.

If it was a 4x4 I would absolutely consider it. Sorry!

Just behind the passenger side seat in the floorboard. What do you want to see?
