    Either way, grease a shit ton. It'll throw out the extra and wash away. You can't over grease a bearing. I load mine up every time and they last forever, done this on every vehicle I've owned

    Ya. Plus it helps keep water and mud out of the bearing. They are "sealed" but I grease the outside of the seal as well, even on the CV side where the ABS sensor rides.

    Man cold weather, rain and then snow runs hate poly bushings---- they squeak like no tommorow, time to make delrin uppers too or stop being lazy and make some Hiemed uppers

    Your painted lines look great. That cage should have been built with those tubes added, and your two tubes that meets in the middle really should have met at a junction and not been separated by that three to four inches. You can get away with doing this small boxed in section to tie those in better. This is what can happen when those tubes don't meet each other.

    And those tubes were only about three quarters of an inch apart.

    Nope...they probably didn't wanna deal with the body mount...or they were lazy idk...but I wanna fix it. I was gonna use all 1.75 Dom. It doesn't seem to hard but I reLly hate notching tubes, pretty difficult for me.

    Just take your time, and one notch at a time. Cut the tubing a bit long, and notch as needed. For the c pillar, you can land it on top of the frame. So it'll come down like \ and not |

    The hardest thing for me is notching tubes that aren't 90...confusing to me..I use just a hf notcher lol

    I don't use it but might help you if you know the angles of your notches.

    I have a pro tools notcher, it works well but I also use a chop saw and grinder.

    am I crazy for wanting to try the slider box shackle thing?, seems like they would help keep a more even spring rate/feel throughout the travel?

    Does it even have enough throw to work with lt sua springs? I have no complaints with the swing style shackles. You get more travel out of then. All the work is in your shocks anyways.

    I could make a slider with enough throw, seems pretty simple, trying to not have low hanging rear hangars, I drag my bumper on the ground pretty often, even done the ol leaf spring skid on stuff

    Couldn't you just do a hanger over frame like on a 1st gen for ground clearance. I could be wrong but it seems like the slider would want to bind a bit through the travel. 62" deavers are a bit hard to keep straight as they flatten out. I'm not against your slider. Just seems you are giving up a lot of useable travel.
