Bought it as it sits. Bought the truck for super cheap cuz the coil buckets are bent fairly badly. Trucks currently down waiting for a frame rack to free up at work so we can pull the coil buckets straight then I'm gonna decide if I'm gonna lop them off and do a full engine cage or just do a cross bar for now.

cool....I really don't like dealing with stainless sheet, such a pain. but aluminum, all day long(I work in the aviation industry). now is the end just floating in that hole?

Damn. Looks good though. Amazing how it fits. The steering is the issue on most v8 swaps. Is there a body lift on it.

Depending on how bad they are bent, Id just do a simple shock hoop with enough room for a bypass later down the road, and tab the top and run a crossover bar over the motor.

Well decided to have my bedsides painted by McNeil since I'm down in SoCal for a few weeks. Picked it up tonight after supercross and looked pretty good, stopped in temecula to get gas and looked things over, not fucking happy. Tailgate is scratched to shit, had them rhino line the insides of the glass to help with spider cracks and overspray is all over the cab and everything else and scratches on the cab. Anyone looking to get a fair price on paint don't go to McNeil. Maybe I'm picky but this is pretty fucked up and I'm not very happy since its damn near a brand new truck
