I hear grinding when I turn. Then when I straighten it back out it stops. Is there any way I can test it by hand?

It only happens when I'm in 4x4. I forgot to mention that.

Alright guys got a Currie 40 spline full floater with 2.5 hubs, need some advice on brake options, definitely don't need the wilwood 4 piston kit that goes for around 700 bucks. Anyone know any other brake kits for 2.5 hubs? Looking to spend around four hundo, I think a 2 piston or even single piston caliper would be plenty. Only running 35" tires

At this point you put the 4 piston Wilwoods on.

You don't put 87 octane in a Ferrari right? That 40 spline Currie axle needs real brakes. #TT status

You will need to use the smaller Wilwood caliper. I had to downsize my caliper because my Toyota brake booster couldn't push enough fluid for the first caliper setup I had. I will try and research which one I had to downsize to on my 2006 Tacoma.

    EDIT
I found the info from my old truck build. I was running 1.75" 4 piston Wilwood calipers and went down to 1.38" 4 piston Wilwood calipers and they worked perfect. The truck stopped on a dime with the smaller calipers.

So gm calipers with wilwood rotors and make my own caliper brackets? The rotors I am getting are 1.25 and 12.19 dia. This is the only thing I can find that I'm considering runninghttp://www.currieenterprises.com/CE-6014SL4K35

That kit is exactly what I was running. I had 2.5" Blitzkrieg full floater hubs and Wilwood Superlite brakes.

Just another reason why a cage is always an excellent idea when you start speeding up in the desert. Glad they all walked out with their lives!
