Don't have a bender lol.i thought the tubes from the cage would prevent it from bending in. Those tube couplers are pretty expensive

Yea it certainly helps...can u flex the current setup by hand if u cut that crossbar out? If u can't.... U might be ok without it or do a tube across the bed floor and seperate tubes kicked up? Triangles....

I'm about to move to San Diego so I want to get as much truck stuff done before the move lol.

I'll fab the shock mounts, cut the crossmember and go from there but I highly doubt it will flex

For anyone in need of cheap tabs or gussets aa-mfg has free shipping till the 23rd

Just do burn out on dirt. That is
Having some sort of cross bar in the bed at some height above the frame helps with keeping the frame rigid. Makes your suspension do more work. Same concept with how much more rigid your truck feels after a cab cage. You can bend the cross bar down and across to the other side with some sort of added gusset.

Get all the tubes to a neutral position, figure out the base valving and go from there. I'm gonna get the base valving done as best I can, then redo the front end with your new kit and then retune everything
