Looks like the TC +2 kit. I talked to TC last week while ordering some stuff for customers builds and the said that the 3.5 race lowers are still in the testing phase and won't be available for a few months

i was wondering when TC was finally going to use a built in uni-ball on the LT kits. the bolt on one always bugged me for some reason

Anyone know the width of the heim spacers for a 2nd Gen LT UCA? Camburg would only sell me the whole arm and not the spacers only so I'm just gonna make them at work.

So I got a question for all you long travel folks: I have a 2012 double cab w/ all pro lt and a dmz Spring under. I love my truck and use it for everything from off-roading to skiing. But, I feel like I never use it to its full potential without a cage. My friend would like to buy my truck so I'm wondering if it would be more fun to build an older Toyota and have something else as a DD. What do you guys think? Keep my current truck or chase the dream of a caged supra powered 4Runner? Dedicated off-road machine or do it all daily driver? Let me know what you guys think!

@Findus11 Buy or build an older Toyota. Buying a built truck will save you a LOT of coin assuming it isn't thrashed. Building a truck is fun but time consuming and expensive. That's just my 2 cents.

True but assuming his kit is the same one we're racing on ours are tucked in pretty far with the offset we run to work with the kit's geometry.

You can see, our entire brake caliper is inset in the wheel...

It's not done yet in those pictures but I did have to clearance the bottom corner of the firewall where it transitions to the floor board portion. It wasn't much but at full lock and full bump with 35" projects mounted that I was cycling with at the time it did hit.

All said and done clearance wise...

Ain't sexy but it wasn't finished either...

It's worth it, remember what I said though, speed is not his strong suit unfortunately, LOL, never has been! Sorry if you see this Matt but you know it's the truth!!! The kit is badass though!

I'm really curious to see what you come up with for an upper mount on the driver's side! In my head I'm wondering if you're planning to relocate the whole brake system to a remote setup or something? That or you're one crafty dude!!!!

Building your DD sucks, I tried it once and will never do it again. Break/damage something and you're SOL getting to work Monday. Wanna upgrade? SOL getting to work while its in the shop. Plus new trucks are more money to mod. Old trucks have the used parts advantage.

Yep, if you plan on building anything make sure you secure a DD first. Then make sure that you dont start building your DD :anonymous:

Would you use a rig that was fully built in the first place? Or would you just have occasional fun like you do now with the do all rig?
