What are the advantages of running a ump intake system? I've seen them before

It cuts a lot more of the dust out.... Some test videos show engine running and them poring bags of sand down it and it just dumping out the bottom and the engine still running fine.

Look into Donaldson brand filters. They have one with the same internal filter element that the UMP uses. The housing is also dead nuts similar to the ump, just made of plastic instead of aluminum. It's almost as if UMP made an aluminum version of the Donaldson filter assembly...

Hey guys, somewhat new to the forums. Figured I would post some photos of the latest upgrades to my gen 1. Two weeks ago I received my new front kit from TT Motorsports. New uppers, lowers, spindles and steering. This kit is replacing a kit that I had made about 8 years ago but was time to step up the travel numbers and add quite a bit of strength. Along with a bunch of other upgrades, the goal is to have everything complete for the Silver alike Prerunner Invasion here in Michigan May 14th.

Mine have to be made, they're not on the shelf. Last time I ordered stuff on the shelf Tim delivered to my work within a week. That's his timeline, not Camburg's.

I'm curious about the significance for that single plate, as apposed to another boxed section ?

Glassworks is the closest to me out of the glass companies. Like one hour versus 3-4 for the others. If I lived in SD or even in the middle I would have gone with a different supplier. The horror stories are real! Lol. That said I have had great luck with them when I purchased. :notsure: the glassworks glass fitment is pretty dam good too.

That said I'm sure burg has a great business relationship with glassworks. Not like it's a random guy ordering one set of fenders and shipping to bfe...

I designed everything on the driver side where the brake booster/ master cylinder was. The master would hit if I ran the rear most plate across the top on the bypass mount like I did on the coilover. In hindsight, I should have just eliminated the plate across the top on all four pieces, which is how they are set up on Tommy's truck so it looked a little better but it did give me an area to mount some of the under hood stuff so I'm not too bummed. Did that answer your question or did I miss the point?
