    Order them from TC, they will be more expensive but its better because you get your name on their list, they wont sell replacement parts unless you send in pictures of your parts but once your listed you can get whatever you want.

    the links that attach to the top of the differential apply a good amount of force that could potentially bend the axle housing. with leafs being so close to the tires, there is very little bending moment being applied to the axle.

    The upper links have nothing to do with bending the axle, they are normally mounted close to center on the axle. The lowers are what would bend it, which is the same place that the springs mount to, so not sure what you're saying?
    And also, I've seen alot of axles bent forward, which has nothing to do with links vs leafs
    No matter what, if you plan on beating on it hard, you should truss it

    essentially trying to say that with leafs, there is nothing aplying force (front to back) at the center or the axle.
