after having mine painted and having issues with the paint because of the glass, i strongly suggest wrapping them.

    thanks!

Yeah sadly, its cracked in the area by the window pillar mount, i have a hard bubble over a spot where something was in the fiberglass when they made it. It looks awesome but if i had white, id wrap it.

    Stuff and junk and things...

You need to paint the gelcoat on fiberglass before you wrap it. If not the wrap will remove the gel coat if/when it's removed. A simple primer or single stage will work, it doesn't need to be show quality.

I think I'm gonna stick with painting and just look in to additional or stronger mounting points. I can bend the cab side mounting points with my hand, so that tells me they aren't going to be doing much for mounting lol

Has anyone used dirt kings extended axles with the machined inner cv's to reduce bind?

I believe it was like $75 for the pair. Each kit does one whole CV, inner & outer

Camburg axles. No welding for the time being, just straight Camburg kit (by itself) with their axles and fox coilovers. No bypasses, gussets or anything. Only reason is no one around here (eastern NC) has a single clue about this kind of stuff so I plan on doing everything myself. I won't be doing any wheeling until the limit straps are on so I'm not too worried about them being welded in just yet. Trust me, I know to gusset everything, but over here there's nothing even worthy of wheeling that would require gusseting right now.

On the finding things wrong... Oh I know lol although I am using a full shop, with a very large spread of tools, so I feel fairly comfortable with getting the problem fixed. Thanks for all the input though! I think I'm going to just tackle it head on and take my time doing everything right

It really doesn't matter where he goes. I'm sure he'll go where ever is close or does the cmc the way he wants it done

Actually I used a heat gun to help remove the wrap from a section on my bedsides and it didn't pull on the gel coat.
