Going to start building my internal cage tomorrow but had a few questions. Did you guys with cages mount them to the floor or go to the frame? And how did you run a tube down the rear behind the rear seat? Looks like I could trim the plastic backing but I'm not sure.

No point to a cage unless you weld it to the frame

Yeah man, that's what I thought I read somewhere. If you're not at full turn and stuff you should be ok. I say 35s but was actually going to go your same route, 315s.

If you are asking if you should tie a cage to the floor. That makes me question whether you know what you are doing. No offense

What are you guys using for shipping large items? I'm using Fastenal for third-party Logistics, but they're kind of rubbing me the wrong way lately. I'm looking to save a little money as well as they are a bit expensive

Find a local shipping agent that will shop quotes for you between a number of carriers. Easiest way to do it, they do all the leg work and send you labels and a bill of Lading when it's ready to rock. Send me a PM

None taken, that's the thing is this is my first cage and I've heard of people going to the floor and I know the frame is better. I should've asked how you guys went to the frame. Did you use a gasket on the floor for the pipe to go through? I'm having a friend that's done a shit ton of cages help me but he's never done and internal, he just makes strictly off road trucks that don't have cabs.

We use Unishippers at my work and they have been the cheapest so far. They broker the freight so they multiple companies to get the price lower.

Depends on how you want to go with it. I'm cutting a hole through my floor and bending a 90 to the side of the frame. I'm going to plate back over my hole and lay carpet bask on the floor

Did you use a rubber bushing or anything. If not, does the cage vibrate.

The way I see it. If you want to actually fully use it. Tub it. You won't have to do much due to the lt.

    I used 22ga

Yeah man, if I can avoid it I will. I got the, "holy crap, I just worked my ass off to put in rear LT syndrome." Lol.
