I've had no issues with my remans. If I broke that many though I wouldn't keep buying them.

It's always that little ass basket/cage that holds the ball bearings in that breaks. Seems like a poor design. Well this one will be the last until I figure something else out. Might look into genuine Toyota axles then if that's your suggestion Jason.

I have the axles you show in your pic and using this boot. Needed to get a narrow clamp to have the boot seat correctly in the recess machined into the inner flange/cup. I have about 1000 miles on them, no problems thus far. Super easy to swap out.

I had some trouble getting the new axle into the diff as the snap ring have a very shape edge to it versus the OEM snap rings which have a bit more rounded profile. I wound up just "kissing" the leading edge of the snap ring with a die grinder to chamfer the edge a bit. Worked perfect. Good luck

She is only about 5'4" but after 2 ankle sugerys she needed something to help her quit crossing her legs and slamming the bad ankle and heel on the floor.

Thanks for the info. Did you have to modify/grind the cup for the extra travel of our suspension or just put the boot on and go?

So I missed the leaf spring convo BUT does anyone have experience towing a 6x10 enclosed trailer (or similar) with LT?

Currently with a dirtbike, coolers, gas and camping gear the thing rides about 2" off the bumps (old F67's) and with a Cali stance that would be the sickest back in 2000. I'm thinking maybe towing a small enclosed would help take some load off the suspension and make dez trips with the bike more convenient to load and better then tent camping. I don't think pulling would be terrible considering I can do 75 up the grade loaded, and braking should be more then enough with trailer brakes too.

    Opinions/alternatives?

6x12 with hardly any sag. Didn't even come close to the bumps.

At first I had to much weight in the back and it swayed bad over 45mph. Moved some stuf and it towed awesome. It was super heavy though. It was jam packed .

Nice, I might have to rent one and try it out first, but it sounds like it would help as I had thought
