TC is good stuff, but your Camburg comment leads me to believe you don't pay much attention to the race scene

I'd go burg before TC, and I have a Tc kit. It would be nice to not have to deal with bushings with the TC kit.

IMO any kit will be great, just not an engage kit. Lol

I really like th uniball's on the burg kit. But the camburg kit is a little wider. Eventually I'll build my own lower arms to incorporate both features

Wanna buy mine? And I'll go buy the new TC race series kit

All things said tho, my Camburg kit has held up awesome. I have never had a single issue with it.

they're both 3.5" over, so same width. If we're talking bolt on 4x4 kits

I'm a little biased as I'm a TC vendor. But they make a very solid product with great customer service. Dealing with pat is awesome.

I've seen a few solo xlt kits and they are awesome, but they can't be compared to the standard tc kit. But currently (until tracs kit is released) they own the market on the extreme end of 4x4 kits. But with that being said I did recently see a 1st gen standard solo kit that did have some issues with alignment. But otherwise if your looking for 4x4 with big travel numbers that's where it's at.

Burg makes a great kit but I do have a few small gripes with it. I also think when it comes to 2nd gen kits dirt King offers a lot of nice features at a very competitive price point.

Whats the benefit of the TC race kit with the heim uppers?

The lower arms on the burg kit measured a little shorter than the tc arms I had next to it. The steering extensions were also 3/4" shorted on the burg kit and after alignment the overall steering rods came out to almost an inch shorter on each side

In short, Heimed uppers allow for more caster adjustment, race series lowers have the uniball incorporated into the LCA as opposed to in an adaptor which leads to a little better GC. They build the arms a lot lighter too.

Lighter, cromo, better ground clearance. Overall appeal

So the TC Kit is wider then... Didn't you get the race kit tho? Arms with the uniball incorporated as opposed to on an adaptor cup will obviously be a little wider, but the kits were talking about are 3.5" over, variances will be minor if at all.

I can't wait to install my race kit. Since you've been talking about going LS swap and losing the 4x4 is their a reason your not thinking of going with a wider 2wd kit that pulls more travel?

Or do you just figure a tc race kit with lift spindles will be enough

Hate to break it to you, but TC doesn't make a race series kit for the first gens...

That was the standard tc kit. I had the camburg kit in the shop prior to the tc race kit being released. It would definitely be tougher to get an accurate measurement with the two different styles of uniball mounting

Bolt on kit and spindles will be plenty, but I would likely go with the Camburg race kit which is still "in development" so I can run a real Hub up front and not these garbage OEM ones. But after Moab I'm reconsidering ditching 4x.

I had a feeling rock therapy might have done that. 4x4 doesn't get used often, but knowing its there is always nice
