The dude on DR with the beamed Titan and Beamed 1/2 ton Chevy runs an old Tahoe sway bar from a junk yard off the axle... He seems to like it. Could be a cheap alternative to the bling setups of most prerunners, though it may take a few try's with junk yard bars to get what you want out of it.... Downsides are increased unsprung weight (marginal in a live axle rear setup anyways) and bar effectiveness when choosing a junk yard bar

I just spoke to the tech support folks at Currie. With that universal kit you do not need any mounts, the DOM tube can be welded through, above or below the frame rails. Got some better specs from them so I can try to mock it up. The arms sit all the way at the ends of the bar and are only 1/2" thick and the bent arms have a 2 1/2" offset

Have you talked to Andrew at Trac? That's the route I think I'm gonna go if he's willing to sell it as a kit

"But that's none of my business...."

That is cool if looking to save a few. Never thought about hooking up to the links. The ones through the frame are nice looking though.

Currie 36" universal kit, aluminum straight arms and custom built links and adaptors because the thin weak looking currie stuff wasn't race car enough

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

Evenflow I don't know why you don't post more pics of your truck, that set up is badass. Plus front kits are easy to upgrade if you ever get to the point you want to go full race truck. I remember you saying you want to use your truck more for exploring baja and surf spots and what not so seems perfect.

I find it funny that people in here bitch about the +2 or +3.5 kit, yes the 3.5 kit is awesome but some people don't want the 3.5 kit and we bitch about a couple inches difference in travel when a mid travel kit on some trucks is pulling close to what we get with our bolt on lt kits. Either way its not all about numbers. That being said if it were me I would get the 3.5 too.

Also...about to pick up my truck from paint, finally!

Could you somehow get the 4runner 21mm rear sway bar to work for your setup?

Thanks, Your new paint job looks sick ! You should put some of that clear bra stuff or clear wrap on those bedsides ASAP. You should also break a branch off that tree in the background and just go ahead and drag it down the sides of the truck and get it over with :boink:
