Spotted this tundra today, thought maybe someone know him. Down at NAB too.

 

Need a first gen Tundra Camburg LT Kit installed on a truck. Have the kit, and fox coilovers. Shocks bolt in, only welding needed is for limit straps and reservoir mounts. Also need a towing airbag kit installed in the rear.

Need the kit installed by Monday 8/15.

Must be local to OC, CA

Anyone else have issues with 4x4 hubs up front? One trip to Pismo and my new hub is starting to get loose already. Looks like I'm ordering ANOTHER one. Drivers side 2, Passenger side 0.

Or on the flip side, can anyone recommend a beefier upgraded 4x4 hub? My Ebay replacement used all Koyo stuff, which I think the 2 guys on here use as well.

 

05+ taco right? Do you mean the female splines on the hub are wearing, or the wheel bearings are wearing out? The wheel bearings getting eaten is a common problem. Most guys put new wheel bearings in and don't grease them. Bearings don't last long with no grease. There are a couple of dudes here that sell complete hub/bearings already assembled. Buy one of theirs and you will see a lot more miles out of them. I get 50,000 miles out of mine, but I have heavy tires too.

 

Yeah the wheel bearings are wearing out. I can pull off the rotor and caliper and grab the lugs and pull up and hear the bearing click a little. It's not super bad now, but my old one was a big clunk, and when I drive and hit bumps I can hear a clunk on that side.

Yeah I guess I'll order a set from the guys on here and see how they go. Only reason I ordered from Ebay was because they 'said' they used Koyo bearings and they had them in stock...literally showed up in about 2 days lol, whereas the 2 guys on here seem to be pretty swamped and it takes a good couple of weeks to get to you.

 

The guys on here are well worth the wait, and you can add ARP studs to the order. My hubs are still going strong

 

Yeah that's exactly what I'm thinking. The Ebay order was because my OEM hub was toast and I was going to Pismo in a week and a half and didn't want to go out there without replacing it. Good call boys, thanks!

 

what does everyone use for sound deadener stuff. im redoing my headliner and carpet and all that junk and wanna add some in sense everything will be out
