If you're referring to that rock slayer kit, it's very rough for something commercially offered. You'd think with all the cnc cutting these days you'd see a lot less square tabs an bland mounting brackets, but I guess just cause people can weld doesn't mean that they have the ability to design solid appealing parts

I agree. I wasn't sure if I truly needed trailing arms. I'll keep the +2. I know you can still get a lot done with 12" of travel with everything valved right and bypasses.

Of course I would like more travel than I have now, but like you said nothing crazy. Just something better and good enough that I can quit messing with it lol.

Giant link killers leaf setups are really good performing setups, u can go fast enough to want a rollcage, shit I got some e30/h70's with a couple thicker leafs in em and I can carry all my skids and camping gear and scoot around just fine....valving has a lot to do with how it rides.

Anyone have a muffler recommendation? For a truck with headers and no cats, this thing is just absolutely tin can sounding like no tommorow with a flow master 40. Magniflow? I don't care if it's loud just want to tone down the tin can noise

 

Maybe a magnaflow 18"... Mine was way too loud so I added a second muffler lol

 

I got long tubes and ypipe and had to run a 20" magnaflow with a 12" resonator. Still loud when on it but no tin can sound and very little drone

 

Shit I still have stock front headers with a URD Y pipe and above 4k or so it gets pretty raspy.

 

My old set up with the flowmaster 50 and headers and ypipe was drone city and raspy as hell. Very happy with the results of the new setup... Also should mention I have used equal length headers and used 4x4 ypipe

 

Anyone running equal length headers (URD or ?) with TC coil bucket gussets. I know URD says they wont fit...just curious if anyone made them fit

 

are the equal length ones with the big u tube in em?....for what its worth the doug Thorley long tubes fit with plenty of room.

 

Actually yes I am urd headers for a year and just got my TC coil bucket gussets installed by a shop last month by the looks of it I have a couple inches of room from the header and gusset

Reaaallly? Theres reports of guys having their equal lengths hitting the coil bucket without gussets. Hmmmmm

@Basikbiker DTs aren't equal length, just long tube (no cats)

I remember seeing those and the description on the urd website but I just went for it... The shop may have done some mods to make it fit but they never said anything about it... I also have solid motor mounts? Don't know if that would change anything
