Yea I have resinators in the mid pipe on each side, maybe add another resinator before the muffler and try a different muffler?

I'm actually already running 2 mufflers, one being the origial 5x11x24" magnaflow the Urd spec-u ships with. The mufflers are more than enough. I'm currently looking to pick up clean up stray resonance. The dead pipes should do it. At cruising rpms and highway speed it is very close to stock

That's what I was figuring on doing. That's why I mentioned it above. I've used it on a few Japanese track cars with good success.

Just a peice of exhaust running parallel with your muffler capped off at the end. The longer it is the more low rpm drone is affected. Shorter will get rid of high rpm drone. I did mine around 29" and it was perfect

If you get the length tuned right, they work great

So it's just there to change the resonance depending on the length?

I like them a lot. Install was a bit of a PITA on the driver side but they sound great. I didn't notice any loss of power in the lower Rpms like most long tubes but did notice an small increase from 1200-2000 but a big increase of power from 2300rpm and up. I also have no tuning on the truck for them, once I get a ucon I'm sure the increases will be a lot more noticeable

Good to know. Im getting ready to pull the trigger on the whole stage 3 setup and want these vs the LT headers it comes with.

I'd do th spec-u over any other header out there. They are a little more expensive and driver side was pita to get in but I thought it was really worth it
