What's up gents? So I've heard a lot of the LT bs thread, the considering LT read first thread, and a few builds. I just took the plunge and bought the TC +2" LT kit with King/TC LT coilovers 16"x600# and had CVJ build the extend axles. Can you guys give me some advice on anything? I have a great MT setup just always wanted LT.

Haha I know the feeling even with my truck already some times. Yea I'm trying to keep it for use of overland/camping trips. Pelfreybilt bumpers and such. No Baja bumpers. Just need more travel in the front and probably one day in the rear. @chulsey4 your right down the road from me and a few others.

No I didn't go with heimed uppers but I did go with their racing series version. I already have spindles guesseted. Don't have cam tabs yet. Not planning on running it hard through the woods of NC just slow and easy.
Thanks I'm excited to be part of it.

We built it to clear 37's from the beginning. So no rubbing. And not sure on mpg but should be better than it was. The gearing is 5.00 at 60mph I'm doing 68mph lol

Hey fellas. I'm looking into buying an older ball joint camburg kit for my taco, in which I will eventually either convert, or build new upper arms using uni balls. He's running this kit on his 99 6 lug 2 wheel drive truck and is using 4wd spindles with no 4wd internals. My question is, since my truck is 4x4, is there any chance the axle will be able to clear the coilover or am I looking at moving the shock tabs over a bit to clear? It's looking like I'll be doing some cutting. IMG_73371.jpg IMG_73391.jpg

Are you sure you don't mean lower control arm uniballs ? All of the first gen camburg kids I've worked on came with uniball upper and ball joint lower. I have a fix for that by the way.

The lower shock end needs to be changed to a taller one. Not sure how that works on Sway-A-Ways.

It's a ball joint kit top and bottom using moogs. And what's your fix? 4979269271.jpg IMG_73171.jpg IMG_73141.jpg

I tossed in a uniball cup in the lower, and modified the steering arm to accomidate a 3/4 bolt. As far as the upper, might just want to build a new upper. Lots of work to keep a bushing upper.

Yeah I think I'm going to ditch the upper throw a uniball up there. As for the kit, can I get away with throwing a different spring retainer on the bottom so it'll clear an axle or just not worry about it and move the shock tabs forward and out of the way?
