Dirt King will add secondary tabs if you want them, they do not build their stock length kit with with them because the average Joe with a mid travel kit does not use a bypass.

The non race series is a bad decision now that the race series is out...why would you want 2" less ground clearance and the external BJ adapt vs the race series ?

 

I just did the stock width TC Race series lowers on my 2017 build but without the secondary shock mount. To clear the secondary mount you need to run a 1.25" wheel spacer, and at that point you might as well run their +2 kit and going off my past arguments might as well go all the way to a full 3.5" over kit.

Yes, you have to have the same gear ratio front and rear.

Shock mounts are immaterial to locker use. You won't break anything with a front locker as long as you use your head. Turning while locked or just absolutely spinning/thrashing through stuff will destroy any drivetrain eventually. That said, I blast up shale rock hill at 40 MPH locked front and rear with no issue; as well as crawling through technical stuff at slow speeds and churning through soupy mud.

Do NOT upgrade tie rods. I would rather bend a tie rod then break a power steering rack (again). I had HD tie rods for a while - definitely not worth it. Destroyed a power steering rack and was constantly replacing the heims on the tie rods.

I have the older design AP LT kit. I wish I had a TC +2" kit instead, with heimed uppers.

What size spring you guys running on your 8" coilovers for 2nd gen? I'm running a 16" 600# and I have the top spanner all the way up and truck sits to tall. Thinking if going to a 14" 600# might help out or do I need to relocate my lower shock mount lower on the control arm?

 

Travel numbers?

 

Probably in the area of 10"
