I have a set of 4" flares and they aren't the worst but I plan to go LT within a year. Take a look.

Yeah I cant wait for it to fill out these fenders. I had spacers on her but the tires were rubbing on the frame and I couldn't bring myself to grind on that. Stock offset and 285/70/17

tight budget makes for small sacrifices like protein powder and longer waits for gainz. Only gained midtravel so far LT next

im sure this question has been brought up before so if someone could get me the link that would be great. when swapping to a tundra axle do you want to keep the V8 gearing or get a V6 tundra gearing? Thanks

    try here

desired gear ratio is relevant to tire size and what rpms are acceptable on the freeway; not if its from a v6 or v8 tundra

Question for SUA noob, my cousin is selling me his axle with f67s and 12" shackles already attached. Will all of this bolt up to the stock spring perches or will they have to be relocated? Thanks.

No they have to be relocated...front and back....AND you don't wanna run 12" shackles under the frame....52.5 is the distance between front mount and rear mount

Thanks! So, I'll do one of those setups that the top of the shackle sits on top of the frame?

Yeah I would do 12" shackles over the frame. Did 9" through the frame and it sucked.gonna have to cycle it but 53" hanger to hanger worked better for me.

Okay I'll do that then, just wondering because I've heard the f67s can sag pretty bad and don't want some swagass squat going on

They're basically new he had them on for a week or two and then bought an already built truck, so he put his back together stock and is selling the parts. And yes, I'll be doing it myself.

Front leaf spring mount needs to be relocated along with the shackle mount. The springs will not bolt directly onto your frame.
Also, the set pinion angle on that axle may not be appropriate depending on where ride height is due to bed weight, gear, etc

the 52.5 was the distance for the pre-tacoma toyotas, there was a thread about this on dr and that number came from helton's truck
