Yeah i found the same thing with the km2s and my truck. You cant let the bitch upshift like it wants too because it just robs all your power. The supercharger couldnt spool to keep up so i just kept it in 3rd and in between 2.5-4k rpm.

You won't need to run spacers in the rear unless you plan on running a 12" or wider tire or a 3.0" or bigger shocks

spacers will not perform, yes the rear will hold you back with you have LT in the front but spacers in the front will have you broken if you actually start to use the rear. Get some Replacement UCAs and coilovers and then try.

i say dont buy expensive replacement CO's and UCAs cause they will only set you back further when going lt front. i say get some bilstein 5100s just to level it out and it will be better than stock

Coil spacers...Cause the Defined rear LT kit will lift the rear of the truck 2". This is just until i LT the front. I will not be doing any serious offroading until the front is done.

Crap...read further first. 5100s OK thanks!!!!

Why not just get a spool or locker?!

cause its cheaper, a detroit and welding the rear diff does the same thing... so why not save a couple bucks right? or am i missing something

i dont know much about lockers so any opinions are welcome

I would not weld your gears/diff.

A locker still has some give with the spring mechanism inside iirc, a spool (which are cheaper) has no give at all (hell on wheels if you plan on driving it on the street)

Get a Powertrax Locker (if they have them for your truck) if you don't want to spend the money for a Detroit.

Honestly, save up for a built 9" or Tundra axle if you plan on keeping the truck for a long time.

yep.. agreeing with the duck. do not weld your gears... been there and done that on the last truck... it works yes, but your tires will hate you. just get the powertrax. its like 300 bucks for your truck and they are a cake walk to put in.
