The hard line goes directly to the carcoal canister correct? Should I get rid of the canister and pray for a nice smog guy or relocate it to the rear so I don't have to worry about mounting after I cut front fenders?

I am not sure if your year is the same but a photo would have been a good idea lol. This is how mine was routed. For emissions if you want to be street legal in CA you need all of that stuff, some have said they found smog guys to pass but I'm not from CA so I have no info on that

The easiest way I have seen from looking around you want a cell like this, where all of the fittings are in the fill plate. Then you can make a new fill plate and attach all 3 of the items mounted in the stock tank above into to the fill plate, and it will seal directly into the fuel cell. That way you can attach all of your stock hoses and everything should pass smog just like stock

This has 2 fill plates but you get the idea

Even in ca that technically isn't smog legal. Need a really friendly smog guy. A fuel cell would need a carb # for it to legally pass.

Should, but sadly won't. Fuel cells fail the visual inspection. Its hit or miss if the place will pass you if it passes the "sniffer" test with a cell

Well that's at least how you make the check engine light happy. Not sure how to make CA officials happy though :p

Yes it is. I can't say enough good things about the DMZ kit. If you're going to go with leaf springs, DMZ or bust. With enough notice, I can bang this thing out in about five days if anyone's interested.

Nope. The springs and Hangers are designed for a second gen Tacoma.
